Joana Fonseca

Joana Fonseca is a PhD candidate at KTH. She received a BSc and MSc degree from Porto University, Portugal, in 2015 and 2017, respectively as well as a semester at Delft University, Netherlands, in 2015. She works with Prof. Karl H. Johansson and her research focuses on Multi- and Single-Agent Systems, Target tracking, Ocean Monitoring, Data Collection, and Data Fusion. She’s also part of WOP: Women PhD and Post-Doc network and she’s very interested in feminist research and equality work in STEM and academia.

Sriharsha Bhat

Sriharsha Bhat is a PhD candidate at KTH. His research on 'Hydrobatics' focuses on controlling underwater robots in agile maneuvers for new scenarios in environmental sensing, under-ice operations, seaweed farms, swarms and docking. Sriharsha received a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2013, and a master's in Vehicle Engineering from KTH in 2016. From 2013-2014, He was Research Engineer at the SMART Center, Singapore focusing on aerial and underwater robotics; and from 2016-2018, he was Technology Development Engineer at Continental, Hannover, Germany. His technical strengths include model predictive control, reinforcement learning, simulation/modeling, and system identification for field robotics. He is committed to using new technology to accelerate sustainable development. He is is passionate about equality, climate and human rights and is an activist with Amnesty International. .....
